Developmental screenings offered for children from birth to age 5

District 64's Early Childhood Diagnostic Team at Jefferson School conducts developmental screenings monthly of children aged three to five living in the District 64 community.

In addition, the team conducts screenings with children birth to three years of age twice a year.

The screening team includes an occupational therapist, speech language therapist, psychologist and social worker.  The areas assessed include motor, communication, play skills, pre-academic and thinking skills.  Additionally, your child's vision and hearing will be checked.

If you have concerns about your child's development in any of these areas, please call 847-318-5360 to schedule an appointment for a free screening.

The screening schedule for 2016-17 is available here.
