In Ms. Downes second grade class, a wishing tree has grown. This is not an ordinary wishing tree, instead it is a tree for students, parents, and teachers to share their wishes for their class, friends, and family. In front of the tree you will find a picture that asks, parents, students, and teachers to write a thought they want to share and add it to the tree. Participants are asked to write down a wish or a quote and tie it to the tree to watch their Wishing Tree grow. What a great way to share with students that wishes don’t have to be tangible, thank you Ms. Downes for bringing encouragement and fun to your second grade class.
