Washington's Student Council

Washington's Student Council

The board meeting tonight took place in the gym at Washington Elementary School. Our student council started the meeting off with leading the room in the Pledge of Alligence.  In addition to the Pledge of Alligence our students had the honor of helping Dr. Heinz pass out thank you gifts to our District 64 School Board members in honor of School Board Appreciation month. It was a great experience for all involved and we are so proud of our courageous students for leading the night.

Shortly after honoring the School Board, Mrs. Daly and Ms. Lazor presented a short video clip outlining our SEL curriculum, our students and teachers, have begun to dig deep and meet the needs of all learners.  Please watch the board video to see all of the great things we are doing here with the SEL curriculum.

Warmly,

Shari Lazor

Assistant Principal
