Kindergarten Celebrates Earth Day at Washington

Students at Washington had the opportunity to celebrate and learn more about Earth Day.  Classrooms read information and completed artwork that showed off the importance of taking care of our Earth. Students in Kindergarten painted Earth Day shirts that wore to celebrate Earth Day and will wear again on Arbor Day. They also learned and recited a pledge promising to help care for the earth in any way they can.  Talk about recycling, keeping litter in garbage cans, and preserving water and electricity whenever possible.
