Author visit sparks Franklin students' imaginations

"The Great Treehouse War" author Lisa Graff's visit to Franklin School in May inspired students to draw, write, or build their ideal treehouse.

Ms. Graff selected the winning entry created by third graders (from left) Rayyana Baylock and Kaya Goldberg, who introduced the author for her talk to grades 3-5 students. All participants sat in special "VIP seating" in the front rows, and each were photographed with the author and their treehouse.
