School Board candidate filing December 10-17

The District 64 Board of Education will be included in the spring municipal elections on Tuesday, April 2, 2019.

District 64 residents will be electing three individuals to serve four-year terms and one individual to serve a two-year term. The D64 Board has a total of seven members. 

If you missed the "A-B-C's of School Board Service" candidate information event held earlier this fall, you may view the presentation and other helpful resources on our Board Election 2019 webpage.

The filing period for candidates with the Cook County Clerk’s Office in the April 2, 2019, election opens on Monday, December 10 and continues through Monday, December 17.

Here are other important dates in the filing process:

  • The last date to file objections to nominating petitions is Monday, December 24
  • The last date to file a withdrawal of candidacy form is January 24, and
  • The last date to file a declaration of intent as a write-in candidate is January 31.
