Washington Parents and Students Decorate for Teacher Appreciation Week

Washington Parents and Students Decorate for Teacher Appreciation Week

Friday night Washington parents and students kicked off the celebration of Teacher Appreciation Week (May 4th – 8th) by decorating the halls and classroom doors. The Washington parents are thanking the teachers for their support and commitment to TEAM WASHINGTON! We are fortunate to have a lineup of varsity educators that encourage and educate our children everyday so they can achieve their goals and score big. The Washington PTO has put together a game plan to celebrate our teachers. On Monday, May 4th teachers will stop by the teachers lounge for a continental breakfast courtesy of the PTO, Healthy Kids Kitchen, Mariano's and Starbucks. On Tuesday, students will have a  special delivery for the teachers. On Wednesday, teachers will visit the LRC at 3:00 p.m. to pick up a custom Washington snack courtesy of Washington PTO and Roeser's Bakery, Chicago before heading to their meeting.  On Thursday, teachers will receive a Thank you "award". This is a special thank you that will be placed in teacher mailboxes on behalf of the PTO and The Park Ridge Chamber of Commerce. Washington teachers will end the week with a Tailgate Luncheon catered by Healthy Kids Kitchen, Trader Joe's and Marcello's Restaurants. Thank you to all of the Washington PTO and all of the Washington Families!
