Washington students had a unique opportunity to embark on a cosmic journey right from the familiar confines of their school gym!
SkyDome, an indoor planetarium, brought their portable, inflatable planetarium to the school and set it up for the students to enjoy and learn from.
At the beginning of the presentation, students are introduced to the stars of the Northern Hemisphere exactly as they appeared on that day.
Students also learned about the sun and all the planets, our moon, the Milky Way Galaxy, and Greek constellations.
