Beginning of School Announcement

For 2018-19, lunch service will be available on the first day of school, Monday, August 20.

All meals and milk/water must be pre-ordered:

  • The first deadline for ordering hot lunch or daily milk/water is Wednesday, August 15, 2018 for the full week ahead -- Monday, August 20 through Friday, August 24.
  • The cost to order a beverage is 60¢ and is available daily.
  • Hot lunch will be available four days per week. Two menu options will be available each day -- both include a seasonal fresh fruit and veggie bar -- along with a choice of milk/water at a cost of $4.40.
  • The school PTO/A will offer a pizza day fundraiser on the fifth day. Consult your school's PTO/A for information on how to order.

As the school year continues, Wednesdays will always be the order cut-off for the next full week ahead for hot lunch or milk/water. For your convenience, orders may be placed a month in advance. We are sorry, but late orders cannot be accepted.

Your child will be given a wristband prior to going to lunch with the color of the wristband corresponding to the lunch that has been ordered for them. Students purchasing only a beverage will receive a band with the color indicating it is only for a beverage. The District 64 Quest employee will know which main entree to serve each student. Your child will then proceed to the fresh fruit and vegetable bar to choose the items they would like to eat, and select their milk/water. In the case of beverages only, students will go directly to pick up their milk/water. Quest and lunchroom supervisors will be helping students learn and follow the routine at their school.
