The June 12, 2017 Committee-of-the-Whole: Review FY18 Budget meeting was devoted to a careful review of a first draft of the tentative budget for the upcoming 2017-18 fiscal year. Based on this discussion, the budget will be presented for review and adoption as a tentative budget at the June 26, 2017 regular meeting. The Board at that time will also announce a schedule for a public hearing and other opportunities for public comment.
The budget will continue to be revised as new information becomes available, such as the actual staffing needed based on enrollment as the new school year opens in August. The budget in its final form will be officially adopted on September 25, 2017. The tentative budget -- and any updates made later in the summer -- will be posted on the Financial Data - Current webpage.
The special meeting also planned for that date was cancelled.
