The January 27, 2020 regular Board of Education meeting was held on-site at Jefferson School. A video of the meeting is now available on the Board meetings webpage. The video is conveniently time-marked, so you may select any agenda topic to begin viewing.

After a brief closed session meeting, the School Board began the meeting by recognizing the boys basketball teams from both Lincoln Middle School and Emerson Middle Schools and congratulating them on their outstanding seasons.

Other highlights from the meeting include:

  • The Board adopted a resolution directing the Chief School Business Official to begin preparing the tentative budget for the 2020-21 school year. The staff will develop a fiscally conservative budget while advancing the areas of focus within the 2020 Vision strategic plan.
  • The Board reviewed the tentative draft calendar for the 2021-22 School year but took no action.
