School Board members agreed to purchase new Chromebooks for next school year’s second graders and sixth graders as part of the 1:1 Digital Learning program.
The second-graders will keep the computers for four years and the sixth graders will use them for three years. The lowest of three bids for the 1,200 Lenovo 500e models was $388,800 by TRA.
The action took place at a special meeting of the Board on February 25.
