Board changes pandemic policy

Park Ridge-Niles School District 64

The District 64 School Board on June 3 changed its policy regarding how decisions are made in regards to remote learning during a public health emergency. Previously Policy 4:180 stated that the District shall adopt a Remote and/or Blended Remote Learning Plan “approved by the Superintendent.”

The new language states that “the Superintendent shall approve and present to the Board for adoption” a remote or blended learning plan.
