School Board Election 2025

The District 64 Board of Education will be included in the spring municipal elections on Tuesday, April 1st, 2025. 

Petition circulation begins on August 20, 2024, for school board candidates for the April 1, 2025 election. The filing period for candidates with the Cook County Clerk’s office opens on November 12th and closes on November 18th, 2024. 

About the D64 School Board:

  • The Board consists of seven members serving 4-year terms. 
    • 4 terms are ending in 2025.
  • Board members volunteer their time to serve the community and play a vital role in the future of the District.
  • Candidates must be, on the date of election or appointment, a United States citizen at least 18 years of age, a resident of Illinois and the District for at least one year immediately preceding the election and a registered voter.
