COVID Guidelines for 2023-2024

Anyone testing positive for COVID 19 must isolate at home a minimum of 5 days. The date of symptoms (or positive test if no symptoms) is day 0.  Students/staff can return on day 6 if free of fever, vomiting, and diarrhea for 24 hours without the use of medication.  Upon returning to school, IDPH and CDC recommend masking through day 10 to help prevent the spread to others since some people remain infectious after day 5.  All positive cases of COVID must be reported to your building nurse and they will follow up with guidance.

Anyone exposed to a known case of COVID is requested/recommended to wear a mask for 10 days following last exposure.
