Olympic Torch Kicks Off Track-A-Thon At Carpenter

Carpenter had a really special guest at its track-a-thon today! Kosta Zografopoulos starting things off with his Olympic torches.

He was a torch carrier in the 2004 Athens Olympics and was involved in the Rio Paralympics Committee in 2012. He's an advocate in the disability community and promotes awareness and experiences through the ChicagoLand area.

Zografopoulos encouraged students to continue being great people and before each class got going they got to take a picture with the torches.

Thanks for stopping by Mr. Z!

Here are some more photos.
