"We're going to explore the surface of the moon today. Everyone ready?" This may have been a bit shocking to hear during a normal school day, but not at several of our District 64 schools who were chosen to participate in virtual field trips with Google Expeditions, a classroom version of Google Cardboard. Expeditions are guided tours of different places all over the world, where school buses cannot go. Our students have been able to experience these virtual reality panoramas guided by their teacher. These Google Expeditions have brought the world right into our classrooms and catapulted levels of engagement and wonder in student learning.
