Parent University

We believe that when parents and schools learn together -- everyone learns more!

District 64 Parent University offers a series of free evening events each year, tailor-made for all parents and adult community members to extend their own learning. Many of our Parent U events are transformed into Family U nights as well!

Check this year's schedule on the Parent University webpage.

American Rescue Plan (ESSER III): Funds Use Plan

In March 2021, the American Rescue Plan (ARP) was signed into law. ARP included $122 billion in Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funds for school districts across the country. We anticipate that District 64 will receive $1,416,230 in ESSER III funding.  The District 64 Strategic Plan identifies our priorities through 2025-26. In addition, prior to the start of this school year, the District sought survey feedback from school and community stakeholders. Priorities identified include 1) advancing student academic achievement and social-emotional growth, and 2) continued support for the health and safety of students, staff, and educators in response to the COVID-19 health crisis. Click here for information regarding our proposed plans for ESSER III funding. Please note that these numbers are estimates and will be finalized as the budget for the 2022-2023 school year is completed.
