The District 64 School Board on Thursday approved an agreement with Parallel Employment Group to ensure District 64 is able to find substitute teachers when needed.
While this hadn’t been a challenge in previous years, the COVID-19 pandemic has severely shrunk the pool of substitutes, making it increasingly more difficult to fill in teacher absences. The District will only get billed for subs it uses and can opt out at any time.
