The sounds of laughter and the smell of local food filled the air in Uptown, Park Ridge on Thursday.

District 64 and the Park Ridge-Niles community came together to celebrate the return of a summer favorite, the Taste of Park Ridge. The event is back after taking a two-year break.

District 64 was represented by Director of Student Services Alicia Schmeisser, Board of Education President Dr. Denise Pearl, Board Secretary Phyllis Lubinski, and other volunteers at the ticket booth.

The Taste of Park Ridge runs through Saturday, July 16th.

Below are some photos and a video from the first day of the event.
