Carpenter Courtyard gets an upgrade

A beautiful outdoor classroom is being added to Carpenter Elementary School. This area is being transformed thanks to a generous gift from the Carpenter PTO. We can't wait to see all the learning and fun that will be had here!

The project includes a sitting wall for reading, a classroom convertible bench that can seat 30 students, portable soft chairs for work in different places, all-new landscaping, and custom stone artwork made by Carpenter 4th & 5th graders last year.

Carpenter’s PTO got Vanessa Tobin, a Park Ridge landscape designer, to create the new Carpenter Courtyard, and Evolution Landscape Construction is building it out. Phase two will include brick paver areas for additional seating and add more fun stonework for the students to enjoy!
