Jefferson celebrates National Unity Day

Jefferson celebrates National Unity Day

Today is National Unity Day! Our Jefferson Early Childhood Center students and staff were decked out in orange to stand together against bullying. Students spent the day working together, making butterflies, learning about National Unity Day, and how to be kind.

Jefferson Principal Michele Barkley then gathered everyone in the gym to read The Legend of Spookley The Square Pumpkin.

It was all capped off with games and a dance party as each class celebrated together!

Together We Discover, Learn, Grow & Care

At D64, our mission is to foster opportunities for discovery, engagement, and growth for all students. We accomplish this by nurturing interdependence, appreciation of differences, and care for self and others.
