D64 and Kiwanis help raise $12,000 for local families

D64 and Kiwanis help raise $12,000 for local families

Thank you to the community for helping make the Kiwanis D64 Holiday Food Basket Drive a success! We helped raise $12,000, which went towards supporting local families with a grocery gift card plus coupons for free ham and pie from Marianos of Park Ridge.

Superintendent Dr. Ben Collins, CSBO Dr. Adam Parisi, and Administrative Assistant Julie Wasilewski joined Kiwanis and other community members in putting together the gift boxes.

“Our deepest gratitude to all of our friends, families, and neighbors for helping us make the Holidays Bright for families and KIDS!” said Kris Cichowski, President of Kiwanis of Park Ridge.

Together We Discover, Learn, Grow & Care

At D64, our mission is to foster opportunities for discovery, engagement, and growth for all students. We accomplish this by nurturing interdependence, appreciation of differences, and care for self and others.
