Communication Survey Results

Thank you to everyone who helped us evaluate our communication efforts and systems. As promised, here are the results of our recent Communication Surveys.

In total, 729 families and staff members responded to the surveys. The results indicate that most families feel they receive the information they need, with 82% of family members agreeing or strongly agreeing. However, only 68% of staff members find the communication to be effective.

We explored satisfaction with various communication tools, and 56% of families are satisfied with the current tools, compared to 41% of staff members. Some common frustrations identified include using too many different applications, language barriers, receiving too many emails at once, and difficult platforms.

You can find more results here.

Part of this process also involved researching different mass communication tools. We currently use SchoolMessenger, which no longer meets our needs. After months of gathering information and having conversations with companies and surrounding districts, we recommend switching systems to the ParentSquare platform. This proposal will be presented to the Board in March for approval.

We are still working on a timeline, but more information will be shared as soon as we have more details!
