District 64 Orchestras perform at Elmhurst University

Our Emerson and Lincoln Philharmonic orchestra students had an incredible experience at Elmhurst University this week. Students performed in the beautiful Hammerschmidt Hall, followed by an enriching clinic with two outstanding string music education professors and clinicians, Deborah Peot and Susan Blaese.

The feedback our students received was extremely valuable—both relevant and well-received.

"It was truly inspiring to see our students engage so deeply with the music and grow as musicians in real time,"  Erica Faulhaber, Curriculum Specialist for Instrumental Music. "We sincerely appreciate all the efforts that went into making this trip such a huge success, and we hope to offer similar opportunities in the future."
