Nursery Rhymes Come Alive in Field's Kinder Hall

It was another amazing Nursery Rhyme Extravaganza at Field Elementary School! On October 2, Kinder Hall transformed as kindergartners put on a WOW of a performance for this fun annual event.

The young performers recited classic nursery rhymes and did a fantastic job bringing the stories to life with handmade props and creative costumes. This year, the students channeled their inner mice, wearing colorful handmade clock hats and holding up adorable mouse puppets for Hickory Dickory Dock. They also brought out a classic spider rhyme, dressed up in fluffy sheep headbands, and set the scene with dangling raindrops and a sleeping cap on a pillow.

For the grand finale, they wore pink hats and snouts to act out This Little Piggy, holding up picture cards of the market, roast beef, and sad faces for the piggy who had none.

The young Field poets showcased the new rhymes and vocab they’ve learned and did a great job performing in front of their classmates and guests! Thank you to the Kindergarten Team for inviting us to see the sheep, old man, mice, Miss Muffet, and Humpty, and for letting us be part of the fun.
