Following the support of our referendum, we are fulfilling our commitment to long-term fiscal responsibility by reevaluating our 30-year facility roadmap. We have partnered with McKinstry, a leading strategic facility planning partner, to perform independent, third-party engineering assessments of our building systems. This partnership provides the District with a live system for tracking asset health and remaining life, allowing us to stay ahead of repairs and protect the community's investment in our schools for decades to come.
-
Field Engineering
June 2026
McKinstry engineers begin a comprehensive physical assessment of all eight District schools to catalog every major building system (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and roofing).
-
immediate tracking
Summer 2026
New equipment installed during recent construction projects is added to our 30-year roadmap to ensure we are tracking its health from day one.
-
Financial Modeling
Fall 2026
Field data is analyzed to determine the observed remaining life of our assets.
This phase involves building a customized financial dashboard to predict repair costs and prioritize work based on educational impact.
-
Plan Finalized
Fall 2026/Winter 2027
The Board of Education will review the final report and refined 30-year plan.
This data-driven roadmap will be used to guide all future capital budget decisions.
Once the McKinstry study is finished, we will add the projects that were not included in the referendum here.
