Superintendent Update

Superintendent Dr. Ben Collins updated the Board on the Strategic Plan, his goals, and the State of the District. You can view this portion of the meeting here.

We also said goodbye to two administrators as they are leaving for other jobs closer to their homes. Thank you to CSBO Dr. Adam Parisi and Director of Facility Management Noel Mendoza for their years of hard work and dedication to D64.

Dr. Collins expressed his gratitude to them as this is their final Board meeting with D64. Talking first to Dr. Parisi, “When you think about the construction, to the financial presentations, to transportation, to food service, your office touches every aspect of the district,” said Dr. Collins. "We just want to thank you, we’re proud of you, and we’re just very thankful that we worked with you.” Dr. Parisi will be the new assistant superintendent for finance and chief school business official at Villa Park District 45, effective July 1.

“We just wanted to thank you for all the wonderful work that you do and have done to put us in great shape for construction and all of our facilities,” said Dr. Collins to Mendoza. “You are very good at your job, and we know that Joliet is getting a really great person. Thank you for everything, and we wish you all the best.”
