Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS)

A Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) is used to provide students extra support and services to work towards meeting grade level expectations. Throughout the MTSS process, intervention data is regularly collected and reviewed by the team.  To access the MTSS Parent Guide, click here.

In some cases a student may not demonstrate adequate progress in the MTSS process and the team will meet with the parents to determine next steps.  The next steps could include a change or adjustment of the current interventions or possibly determine the need for a special education evaluation.

MTSS is used to provide students identified by the screeners, extra support and services to work towards meeting grade level expectations.
